Please note: All bookings form a direct contract between the hotel provider and guest based on the following booking conditions
All bookings made via the accommodation booking portal require a guarantee – either by credit/debit card with payment being made upon arrival/departure at the accommodation provider or by requesting an invoice where payment is made 14 days prior to arrival. If your plans change, you can cancel free of charge until free cancellation expires in accordance to the number of rooms you book as outlined below:
1 - 2 rooms You may cancel free of charge until 1 day before arrival. You will be charged the total price of the rooms if you cancel within 24 hours prior to arrival.
3 - 5 rooms You may cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. You will be charged the total price of the rooms if you cancel within the 7 days prior to arrival.
6 - 9 rooms You may cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. You will be charged the total price of the rooms if you cancel within the 14 days prior to arrival.
10+ rooms and larger bookings: Please contact the team. In some instances, and for larger group room bookings, the accommodation provider may require the rooms to be contracted directly with them. This contract will then supersede any terms and conditions, including any cancellation policy set by LCB.
Introduction of Liverpool Accommodation BID Charge
The Liverpool Accommodation BID Charge is a fee of £2 per room/ per night. This may also require a 20% VAT Charge.
The city-wide fee has been introduced to all bookings from June 2025 as part of an initiative led by the city’s larger hotel and serviced apartment providers to create new events and activities and improve the experience for overnight guests visiting the city.
It will specifically support bringing major events to the city including cultural, sporting and business events. It will also support marketing campaigns and city dressing to enhance the visitor experience. It will also offer support to the visitor economy sector in terms of skills and also accessibility and sustainability initiatives.
